Notification of Introduction of Secure Release Order Fee as of November 3rd
Dear Valued Customer,
We hereby wish to inform you that, as of November 3, we will begin charging for the German Ports Secure Release procedure, which has been mandatory since the beginning of October.
The subsequent fee for the Secure Release Order (SRO) will amount to EUR 7.00 per shipment and will be duly reflected on our invoices from the aforementioned date onward.
This initiative is part of the nationwide implementation of a security procedure aimed at enhancing the traceability and release of import shipments at German seaports.
As this is a mandatory regulation imposed by the port authorities, the costs incurred will be proportionally passed on to you.
