Please be informed that Ghana Customs will no longer accept any generalized cargo descriptions such as„spare parts“, „spare partsformining“ or „medicalequipment“ etc.
Each item must be described in detail on the Bill of Lading to reflect the true nature of the cargo. Any inaccurate or misleading cargo descriptions will be penalized by Ghana Customs.
Continously required is the additional HS Code (6 digits minimum) as well as full style contact details & Tax ID of the consignee.
