EXPORT LCL CYPRUS - Implementation Customs System AIS
Cyprus Customs will implement their new system AIS as of 01.09.2025.
For the new system the full details of shipper and consignee including EORI number when available (for EU entities) needs to be submitted with customs manifests, prior to arrival of the vessel.
Therefore following information are mandatory in the B/L as from 10.07.2025:
EU Shipper: EORI Number must be shown in the BL
NON EU Shipper: Full Address (incl. ZIP/Post Code)
Consignee: EORI or VAT ID of cnee in Cyprus must be shown in the BL
Without this information, the shipment cannot be accepted by the Cypriot customs system, the container cannot be transported to the warehouse, and the recipients cannot clear the shipments through customs.
