LCL Export - Update on the strike on the US East & Gulf Coast
Dear Valued Customers,
following our announcement on October 2nd, we are pleased to inform you that the parties involved in the longshoremen\'s strike affecting the US East and Gulf Coasts ports have agreed to resume operations while negotiations continue for the next 90 days.
According to shipping lines, the announced surcharges will be temporarily suspended. However, additional costs may still incur as a result of the strike\'s impact. As previously stated, such costs will be invoiced pro rata at the destination.
